Chloe Grant is a determined and talented racer who hopes to make her mark in the motorsports world. With her strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to self-improvement, Grant continues to push herself both on and off track. Her journey so far is one of perseverance, personal growth, and an unrelenting drive to be the best version of herself.
Balancing Physical and Mental Preparation
For drivers across all series of motorsport, like Grant, race preparation is crucial for performance. When asked about her favorite part of race preparation, Grant found it difficult to choose. “All of it is very important” she said. “Physically, what I'm doing is my warm-up and have my music on, it gets me really hyped up and ready. The mental side helps me calm down and get in the zone. They both have their strengths and are equally important”. Rather than favouring one over the other, she sees them as complementary, with both contributing to her overall level of readiness.

Early memories of racing and family support
Reflecting on her favorite racing memories, Grant could not single out a specific moment; instead, she recalled the joy of sitting with her family and watching MotoGP or British superbikes.
Her family has been a major pillar of support throughout her journey, with her dad being her biggest cheerleader from day one. “He's been to almost every single one” she said. “He's helped me financially, with sponsorships, and has always believed in me”.

Defining Success: Competing Against Yourself
For Grant, success isn't about comparing herself to others but about personal growth. “I define success as beating yourself,” she explained. “When you're training, it's you against yourself. Forget the people next to you lifting crazy weights. Comparison is the thief of joy. Always focus on being better than you were last time. Whether it's the gym, the simulator, or on the track, it's all about your own progress”. Having this mindset helps her to stay motivated and continue to push forward, even when facing setbacks.
Lessons from F1 Academy
Grant described her experience in F1 Academy as “incredible”. She commented on the financial opportunity it provides along with the chance to race internationally. “Getting to drive with a team like ART Grand Prix was the biggest part for me. They've won so much, and they taught me everything. I just wish I had more time with them to develop fully”.

She also noted that while mixed championships are preferred due to the public perception, the F1 Academy had far less drama than other series. “I never really heard that much drama in F1 Academy, but I did in mixed championships. It was a different environment”.

Overcoming Mental Barriers and Looking Ahead
When asked about the mental challenges that come with racing, Grant was very open about what she has faced, particularly after a big crash. “There was a huge mental block afterward. I couldn't push as hard because I was worried about the financial cost of any damage. If I had spare money for repairs, I wouldn't be as hesitant”.

Grant’s honesty about the financial struggles of racing highlights the difficulties faced by many young drivers when it comes to securing funding and sponsorships to progress their careers.
As for her future, Grant comments “I never thought the single-seater dream would be a thing, but it became one. Now, that dream has faded and I am figuring out what's next. I just want to keep training hard, working hard, and see where I end up”.
Legacy: A Driver Who Stood Her Ground
When asked how she wants to be remembered, Grant was clear; “On track, I want to be remembered as a good driver. I still have a lot of work to do, but I hope I get the chance”.

Off the track, she hopes to leave a lasting impact through kindness and integrity. “I want people to remember that I made them feel welcome and good about themselves. I want to be a kind person who stands up for what I believe in. If I see something wrong, I’m going to speak up. I’ll always fight for what's right”.
Her passion, resilience, and commitment to self-improvement are what define her journey. No matter where her racing career takes her next, Chloe Grant is determined to leave her mark – both on and off the track.
