My top 3 drivers to watch in GB4

by Alex Johnston

The GB4 Championship is another returning series that gets underway this weekend, in support of GB3. For a number of drivers, this is their first series in a 'wings and slicks' single seater car, and for others; a chance to do something new or something to keep them fresh.

First on my list is...

Chloe Grant

The 18 year old Scottish driver returns to GB4 after time in F1 Academy with ART Grand Prix.

Our one time guest, Grant will hope to be a leading contender as she takes to the series with KMR Racing.

Secondly on the list;

Alisha Palmowski

The second female driver on this list is the next 'Could she get to F1?' kind of driver.

Alisha Palmowski moves up to GB4 from Ginetta's and has caught the eye immediately with Elite Motorsport, being close to the top, or on top in the pre season tests.

Definitely a title contender, and definitely one to watch.

Last, but certainly not least:

Linus Granfors

The young Swede is another who will move to his first experience in a wings and slicks car.

He moves from domestic racing in Sweden, where he has begun making a name for himself as a bright up and comer, winning titles and numerous awards held in high regard.

He'll be hoping to follow in the wheel tracks of older brother Joel, who starred in British F4 in 2021 before moving up to GB3 and missing out on the title to Macau Grand Prix winner and current FIA F3 driver Luke Browning.
