Every now and then, we get a female driver come along who 'could be the one', in terms of getting to F1 but now more than ever it seems this driver a real possibility. Doriane Pin could very well be the one.
The 20 year old French driver will be racing in F1 Academy this year with PREMA under the stewardship of Mercedes and is already one of the favourites for the title despite a lack of experience in F4 cars.

That fact however, means nothing because Pin has already been making a name for herself. A class win in an all female line up at the 24h of Spa in 2022, a win in the ELMS championship the same year and now starring at the top end in F4 UAE having picked up a win the F4 South East Asian Championship in just her sixth race in F4 machinery.

She could be the real deal...does F3 and upwards beckon for Doriane? I, for one am excited to see.
