Yet another new ‘10 Questions’ guest! This time, it’s Dubai-born British driver Alex Connor.
Alex is currently racing in the GB3 Championship in 2022, and sits tenth in the current standings, scoring points in the majority of his races so far in the season.

He is racing for the Arden Motorsport team who boast the likes of Oscar Piastri, Jack Doohan and Sergio Perez among others as high ranking prestigious former drivers for the team.

Alex, like those drivers is aiming for F1 and hopes to one day be on the grid for a home race at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Onto Alex’s answers!
1. Hairpins or chicanes? Got to be chicanes.
2. Long straights or slow corners? Slow corners.
3. Understeer or oversteer? Oversteer as you can manage it through the power.
4. Fast circuits or technical circuits?Technical circuits as they are more fun and usually give you a challenge.
5. Wet races or wet/dry races? Dry races as overtaking is easier which makes racing more fun.
6. What’s your favourite circuit you’ve raced? Favourite circuit would be Brands Hatch or Silverstone as they are both fast and technical.

7. Favourite you’ve NOT raced? Probably Monaco as it is super technical and there is no room for error.

8. Your favourite F1 livery ever? McLaren Vodafone Livery.

9. Your favourite helmet design ever? My own designs are my favourite.
10. Who is the best driver you’ve raced against? The best drivers that I’ve raced against are probably Zhou Guanyu in Asian F3 or Luke Browning in GB3.

He is next in action as the GB3 Championship heads for Brands Hatch on the 10-11th September for the second to last race of the season before a season finale at Donington Park a month later.
