We offer our biggest congratulations to Oliver Bearman after it was announced he'd make his F1 debut - in a Ferrari no less. With the news, comes stats and facts that will raise eyebrows and raise interest in the young Brit's debut, as if there wasn't enough eyes on him. Below are some of the best ones.


1) At 18 years and 306 days, he'll become the third youngest ever Formula 1 driver. Only Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll were younger.

2) He'll become Ferrari's youngest ever Grand Prix driver, usurping Charles Leclerc.

3) He'll also become Ferrari's 97th driver.

4) He'll be F1's 776th driver.

5) Born in 2005, he's just the second driver on the grid to be born after Fernando Alonso's F1 debut, alongside Oscar Piastri.
